I am now able to post this without to many tears…..(still have some)

March seems to be a bad month for us as we keep having sad news. I am finally in a place that I don’t automatically start breaking down and can share with everyone else our loss. Last year on March 13, 2013 we lost Bee Bee which was devastating to our house.

This year on Saturday March 29, 2014, Diago said goodbye to us … BOB Can CH/UCI Nat/Int CH Don Diago Vom Neuenschloss CGC HIC RE CD CS CI. I was unaware that sharing 2 McDonalds BBQ Ranch burgers, the ones with Fritos, would be our last meal together, kissed him good night and went to sleep. Known too many as Diago or D. Diago will be missed by all his house brothers/sisters, Ozzie and Sydney especially as they were the old man club of the house.

He was show dog and was a true little worker. I did everything I could with him, as his was my first dog I ever earned a: Rally title, Obedience title, and Carting Title. He set the bar high and all the others had to try and reach it, Eleanor will try and take up the slack for him now. Xander thinks it will be awhile till he matures to do any of those things. He was a trooper through anything and survived MULTIPLE puppies, a true gentlemen. We obtained a Canadian Championship with help of Teresa Bradley & Thom Woodward, but fell short of the AKC one. Xander has some big shoes to fill!!!!

He lost his battle with osteosarcoma with the removal of his leg, but that did not slow him down one bit. We fought through chemo and he was an amazing patient the vet always enjoyed his visits. We even made sure to communicate with him with the help of Nancy Bruington during each activity to make sure he was on board. To our dismay, his lungs still had cancer. We hope his passing was painless.

Off to Rainbow Bridge you go…..you have touched so many hearts in your time here with us and help solidify some amazing relationships with some great people, it is just unfair that you had to go.

So to sum it all up Hush got 7 pts with her daddy David.  You Know & Xander Finished with a CAN CH J with their momma Christina,  Ozzie pulled a Best Veteran and Select Dog out of the air with his daddy David.  Eleanor was a team player and continued the brace legacy with You Know, she also showed like a million bucks for both of us.  Arayah snagged 2 more points and is looking for that Canadian major.  All 6 dogs we took came home with a ribbon that meant something.  IT WAS A GOOD TRIP…I am so proud of David & Hush, they looked so cute together.

ARRIVED DECEMBER 28, 2013

I know that they are now about a week and a half old.  But it takes that long to catch up on sleep and regain your place back in the real world.  I will post some pictures tonight of the gang.  All 8 little race horses are doing great and can’t wait to run a big race.

BTW It is a Race Horse Litter Theme 🙂

Forgot to post that we went for another ultrasound on December 3, 2013 and the Vet said she saw AT LEAST 10…possibly 11!!!!  OH MY PUPPY POWER!

Orchard View Veterinary Center had a Halloween Event.  Hush had to make an appearance.  Hush knew she had to stay true to her heritage and decided on the Devil.  She was rather cute and enjoyed the event.

Xander, You Know, Blue, Arayah (Vizsla) & I went skipping with a girlfriend to the Alberni Valley Kennel Club Dog Show in Port Alberni BC.  Stayed with amazing people and had a pretty great weekend.  Xander went to Canada with 6 points and tried his hardest to get 4.  However You Know was just toooo good for her own good.   Xander is currently sitting on 8 points.  2 more to go and he is a *CH* Champion  !!!  All Points are breeder/owner handled!!  You Know went to Canada with 1 point and just looked dang good.  Took out her nephew for 2 of the 3 days.

You Know now has her Canadian Major of 2 points and is sitting on 6 points.  4 more to go and she is a *CH* Champion  !!!  All Points are breeder/owner handled!!  Blue showed her little heart out and almost took out her sister on Saturday, when she decides to calm down and move she looks amazing.

We also took the controversial Vizsla that was the upset of the island.  Arayah was a shining star.  She received her first 2 points EVER in Canada as her 1^st birthday present.  She looked like a perfect little statute.

The Eugene Kennel Club Dog Show at Brownsville was a HOOT.  Blue had her Eyes and Heart checked and passed with winning colors!!!!  You Know came to show, and show she did.  She looked great and showed her little heart out, I love having her in the ring again, there is life after a TPLO.  All Points are breeder/owner handled!!  Our new friend “Arayah,” Reddog Ranch Arayah Sequoia and owner Anne Prantl, Vizsla show wonderfully for her 2^nd show ever.  Arayah even had her 1^st showing in Rally and was RUFF at first but she started to get the swing of things and snagged a leg.

David also had the privilege of showing “Wrecker” Ramseys Towing Buddy Big Big Wrecker, Owner Gail Ramsey, in the Working Group ring Saturday and received tons of compliments on how well the dog was presented.  Wrecker is truly a joy to work with.

Redmond was HOT with lots of friends at the PCRPC Rottweiler Extravaganza.  Eleanor got her 3^rd leg for her Rally Advanced Title.

Bandon was all WIND.  Rott’n Bottoms and the kidz went to Bandon for fun at the beach.  Eleanor & You Know showed in Bred-By.  You Know back from her recovery did great in the ring, acting like it was just yesterday she showed next to the Bee Bee.  Eleanor also got another point and showed great.

We also had some serious snuggle time with Hannibal.  Nancy has done a great job with him and he is starting back up on his cadaver work.  He is having so much fun with her and it is great to know that he is spoiled rott’n.  He even has a girl friend named Lola…..hummm   Pictures to come of Mr. H.
